Somewhat disappointed

I am knowledgeable photographer, and that i was greatly trying forward to receiving this book.
I was hoping to urge some detailed info on lighting techniques, specifically for food. the extra sections on food and prop styling were handy extras.
What I did get was a pleasant straightforward browse, and a few helpful tidbits of data that I will use. a number of the sections on Photoshop were helpful (and would be more-so for serious amateurs and up).
What I wasn't expecting and was terribly disappointed with, were the big chunks of the text managing the link between ISO, aperture, and shutter. Come-on! this could be a book regarding digital food photography. Anyone who does not comprehend the fundamental photographic relationships ought to be reading a book on basic photography. there have been different elements of the book that likewise contained terribly basic general data i might not expect during a specific book.
Additionally, abundant spaced was used as virtually a portfolio for Lou Manna instead of providing helpful info. He will have some stunning work, however that's not what i used to be paying for.
All in all, i used to be disappointed with this book, though it had been not a complete waste, particularly if you were simply desperate to get into skilled photography.
